The Mente Marine ACS A comes with a control unit to which up to two operating units can be connected (second operating unit not included). The fully automatic trim tab control relieves you of the constant manual correction of the boat's trim in longitudinal and lateral directions.
It automatically ensures the optimal trim position of your boat by reacting to changes in course and wind, as well as passenger shifts. This increases safety and driving comfort, especially at high speeds on modern, deep V-hulls.
Intelligent and Adaptive Technology
The ACS R system uses an integrated sensor to automatically compensate for changes in trim. The system automatically sets the optimal trim position, eliminates heeling, and improves straight-line tracking.
Curve Detection: When cornering, the boat leans into the curve. The control system recognizes these maneuvers and prevents unnecessary trim corrections, so the boat exits the curve with optimal adjustment.
Adaptive System: The ACS A adapts to the size of your boat and the speed of the seaway. In calm water, it corrects faster, while in rough seas it avoids unnecessary trim tab movements.
Operating Conditions and Control
The control system recognizes different operating conditions to always ensure the best performance:
Planing and Displacement Mode: In slow displacement mode, automatic mode is locked (indicator flashes) to avoid ineffective corrections. When accelerating, the system automatically activates even before the boat starts planing.
Mode Change: You can switch between fully automatic mode and manual mode at any time using the automatic button. For example, in rough water, you can manually trim the bow deeper to increase comfort.
