The TBS DC Modular Battery Protection Relay (TBP) is key to protecting your expensive batteries. It combines the functions of a remote battery switch with an integrated, programmable low-voltage disconnect. The relay automatically disconnects loads from the battery as soon as the voltage falls below one of the 10 selectable thresholds.
As a magnetic latching relay with continuous current (350A at 48V), the TBP is characterized by its extremely low self-consumption (< ). In an emergency, the override mode provides a 1-minute bypass to start the system or connect a charger. Thanks to IP65 protection and ISO 8846 ignition protection, the TBP can be perfectly integrated into the DC Modular series and provides maximum safety for marine and off-grid systems.
