Compared to the 700 series, Apollo offers an additional functional upgrade, and with up to 12 separately controlled pairs of speakers, it is also suitable for larger yachts.
The Apollo system includes the MS-RA770, MS-RA800, and MS-SRX400 radios. All can be used independently. However, the MS-RA770/MS-RA800 can generally be considered the main unit. The MS-SRX400 ("PartyBus device") is also a standalone radio for cabins. Both devices can be connected via Wi-Fi or Ethernet RJ45 network. Through this connection, the entire system can be operated from any unit, and different sources can be played in different zones: The MS-RA770/MS-RA800 can determine the source to be played for the MS-SRX400 devices. On each MS-SRX400 radio, users can play their own music via Bluetooth, or music from an MS-RA770/MS-RA800 or MS-SRX400 within the system. (However, the MS-SRX400 cannot tell another device in the system what to play – only the MS-RA770/MS-RA800 can do that.) The app uses the smartphone microphone to create the optimally tuned sound profile for each zone.
