Every maneuver requires a different perspective. That's why the GC 245 offers three different display modes that you can easily switch between:
- FishEye View: Use the extreme wide angle for maximum overview around your vessel.
- Standard View: The natural perspective helps you realistically estimate distances and details.
- BirdsEye View: (Requires OEM calibration) Experience your boat from a bird's-eye perspective – the ultimate aid for complex maneuvering at the dock.
Additionally, you can enlarge the live video using the digital zoom and pan function to precisely focus on important details at the dock or on neighboring boats.
Intelligent Docking Aids with Augmented Reality
Estimating distances on a screen is often a challenge. The Garmin GC 245 solves this problem with smart, virtual aids. Set up individual guidance lines or use pre-calibrated distance markers. These augmented reality elements are overlaid directly on the live video, visually showing you exactly how much space remains between your hull and the obstacle.
Flexible Surface Mount and Garmin Integration
The camera is designed for surface mounting and can be installed with great flexibility – depending on the structural conditions, with the dome up or dome down.
