Whether you're backing into a slip or navigating through a congested marina, the GC 255 provides you with exactly the view you need. You can easily switch between three different display modes:
- FishEye View: Offers an extreme wide-angle image for maximum overview of your surroundings.
- Standard View: The natural perspective to realistically assess distances and details.
- BirdsEye View: (Requires OEM calibration) Shows you the boat from a bird's-eye perspective – the ultimate feature for complex maneuvering.
Thanks to the digital zoom and pan function, you can further enlarge the image and focus precisely on what is currently important.
Augmented Reality: Intelligent Docking Aids
The Garmin GC 255 assists the boat operator with virtual aids. You can set up individual guidance lines and have pre-calibrated distance markers displayed. These elements overlay the live video, showing you precisely how much space you have until the dock, piling, or neighboring boat.
Seamless Integration into Your Garmin System
The camera was developed for seamless integration with your existing system. It can be easily integrated into the classic Garmin Marine Network or the advanced, super-fast Garmin BlueNet™. You can access the video streams on all compatible Garmin Multifunction Displays (MFDs). For the ultimate all-round view, up to four cameras can even be displayed simultaneously in split-screen mode on a single display.
