The Solar Panel to Go - Lightweight, Compact & Efficient The new Tough Fold series are foldable solar panels to go, lightweight, compact and efficient. As part of the Tough family, the foldable version has the same robust cell covering. The laminated textile exterior, combined with the soft-edged and medium-hard core, provides a high-quality and functional solar module. Thanks to the laminated and one-piece construction, the panels are waterproof. Even when unfolded, the solar panels are very small thanks to highly efficient solar cells.
Thanks to the one-piece construction and the extremely flat connection box, the folded solar panel is also flatter than what you are used to from other foldable solar panels with comparable performance. For compatibility with the industry standard for solar panels, the panel has been equipped with waterproof MC4 connectors. Connecting and disconnecting is made easier by the improved finger-friendly design of the connectors.
For operating the foldable solar modules, we recommend the Mini-R solar charge controller or the Smart-Power-Station from SUNEAMsystem.
