Your Eyes On Board – Monitor the Interior Seamlessly

When you leave your boat in port, you want to be sure that no one comes on board unnoticed. The Vanemar Wireless Motion Sensor takes over this watch for you. It serves as a second line of defense if a burglar has bypassed the door sensor or entered through a hatch.

Precise Detection Instead of False Alarms The sensor operates with PIR (Passive Infrared) technology. This means it reacts to the combination of movement and body heat. Swaying curtains or a rocking boat alone will not trigger an alarm – a person moving through the salon, however, will immediately.

Instant Reaction As soon as the sensor registers movement, it quickly reports this to the Vanemar Gateway. You will immediately receive an alert on your mobile phone. If you have also activated the siren (in the gateway or smoke detector), intruders will also be deterred by a loud alarm sound.

Installation in Seconds Since cable ducts are often difficult to access on boats, this sensor is completely wireless. It is powered by a long-lasting battery. Thanks to the included adjustable holder, you can place it on a shelf or discreetly stick/screw it into an upper corner of the salon to get the optimal viewing angle of the entrance area.

  • Main Salon: Directed towards the companionway (entrance).
  • Cockpit (under the cover): Monitoring the exterior (only recommended with a completely closed cover).
  • Engine Room: Securing expensive equipment.
