Humidity and extreme temperatures are the silent dangers for any boat. With the Vanemar Temperature & Humidity Sensor, you can monitor the indoor climate at all times – whether the boat is in the water or stored in a hall.
Mold prevention High humidity quickly leads to mildew stains on upholstery ("Spak") and unpleasant odors. The sensor precisely measures the humidity in the cabin. If the value rises to a critical level, the system notifies you so you can ventilate or activate a dehumidifier in good time.
Frost protection for engine and pipes This sensor is indispensable in winter. Place it in the engine room or near seacocks. As soon as the temperature drops dangerously close to freezing point, the Vanemar App sounds an alarm. This allows you to react before frost damage occurs to the cooling circuit or pipes.
Safety for the battery system The sensor also provides valuable services in the battery area. Monitor the ambient temperature of your lithium or lead-acid batteries to prevent overheating during charging or excessively low temperatures during discharging.
Easiest installation The sensor is tiny, requires no external power supply and connects wirelessly (ZigBee) to your Vanemar Gateway. Thanks to the adhesive pad supplied, you can attach it to the wall, under deck or in the engine room in seconds.
